Another bridge in place...

This morning Paul, Cheryl and I put a bridge on the first part of that new section by the creek. That drainage creek has a lot of runoff that keeps the bottom soft so this bridge should protect it and make crossing a little easier. That leaves just one more wet crossing I want to get done and then I will focus on getting the last to connector trails open. After we got the bridge in, we did a loop ride up the back of Bee Gum road, over to the Pine Cone trail and back down Black road to the creek. It is amazing how quickly growth takes over the trails. And we found a few more trees down blocking the way. The best tool for keeping these routes open is having riders on them. Maybe with all these sections connected we can get more riders and keep the growth beat back. Bye the way, we saw a Rattlesnake that was crushed on the roadway. Don't forget to look where you're putting your feet when you are in the woods.
